Welcome.
The Sydney Society of Literature and Aesthetics is established to promote the study of the arts. It encourages approaches to all art forms from philosophical, psychological, sociological, scientific, historical and/or educational standpoints.
While based in Sydney, its membership is open to those interested from all states in Australia as well as overseas. The society holds an annual conference , sponsors evening seminars throughout the year, and publishes the journal Literature and Aesthetics (two issues per year).
